Goodwill helps people improve their quality of life through work and related services.
A strong partnership with one of Pittsburgh’s largest nonprofits.
Since 1919, Goodwill has championed people throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania — empowering them to overcome barriers to employment and enjoy the benefits of work and improved quality of life. With a rich history of facilitating social change, Goodwill was ready for a completely new brand experience representative of their incredible impact on the community over the past 100 years.
As they approached their 100th Anniversary Celebration, Goodwill partnered with Imagebox to bring bold ideas to life and thoroughly showcase the wide range of solutions, advocacy areas and audiences served by Goodwill.
There are a lot of things that Imagebox does well, and there are a lot of things that Goodwill does well. Imagebox has worked hard to make sure that what we both do well, works well together.

Focus on what you do best and leave the logistics to us.
Goodwill’s transportation fleet makes more than 1,200 runs a month to and from its central retail operation in North Versailles. While that number may seem high to the untrained eye, the reality was that their fleet was going unused up to 50% of the time. In 2016, Goodwill came to us with an idea to turn that unused time into something a bit more valuable – and Mission Logistics was born.
From naming and logo design to branding and messaging, Imagebox worked alongside Goodwill to bring their vision to life and turn organizational downtime into mission-funding revenue.
Halloween Marketing Campaign
When you donate or shop at a Goodwill store, your donations & purchases empower them to make a difference in your community. And in terms of sales — Halloween is Goodwill’s prime season. Imagebox and Goodwill worked side-by-side to rethink their Halloween marketing efforts – transforming your neighborhood Goodwill store into a frighteningly fresh experience – The Goodwill Halloween Bootique.
Donations are the driving force behind all of Goodwill’s programming. And their new Donation Express Center makes it twice as easy to know that your donation will help put people to work. When Goodwill came to Imagebox with their idea for an easier way to donate, we jumped at the opportunity to create a visual identity that communicated their mission, vision and commitment to community.
HR Recruiting Campaign
Doing so much good can be hard work.
And it takes a great team to make it all possible. To attract the best, you have to be the best. So Goodwill came to Imagebox with an idea to transform their Careers page into an entirely new experience. The result was a Careers microsite that attracted top notch talent with playful design and engaging copy that boasted what made working at Goodwill so great.
For the past 100 years, the team at Goodwill has worked tirelessly to make a direct, positive impact within our community.
The Union Station Clubhouse is just another shining example of how their hard work transforms lives and creates opportunity for others. We were proud to partner with Goodwill to capture just what the Clubhouse means to so many of its members.
100 Years of Goodwill
Over their 100 year history – Goodwill has worked alongside some pretty popular people all throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. And as it turns out, a lot of them had some pretty spectacular things to say about Goodwill.
