Our web developers at Imagebox work behind the scenes to create awesome websites for our clients. Let’s bring one of them into the spotlight and get to know some new things about Chad!
How long have you been with Imagebox?
Since June 2011.
Why web development?
Since the first time I got online and wrote my first line of HTML in 1996, I knew the Internet was where I would call my home. I love the ever-changing challenges that come with each new web development project.
What do you love about the city of Pittsburgh?
Pittsburgh and I had a love hate relationship in the beginning. Growing up in a small town three hours north of the city, I used to come down for Pirates games as a child. I always said I would never live here (too much traffic and too many people). Little did I know, an impromptu trip to visit my cousin back in 2007 would lead to me moving here. I love everything about Pittsburgh. The neighborhoods, the food, the bridges and all of the awesome people!
What do you do when you need to be inspired?
Brew a cup of coffee and put on some music.
What did you do before joining the Imagebox team?
I was working in the restaurant industry as a server and doing some freelancing on the side.
What part of the website-building process is your favorite?
Starting a new project.
What are your favorite smartphone apps?
Flipbord, Feedly, Google Maps (I’ve lived in Pittsburgh for almost 7 years and still get lost).
When you’re not coding like a pro, what do you like to do in your free time?
Searching for the next greatest craft beer and hiking with my boyfriend and our pooch Adelaide – she is a German Shepherd/Keeshond mix.
What is the quote you live by?
“Yesterday is History, Tomorrow a Mystery, Today is a Gift, Thats why it’s called the Present”
