Description: Job Title: SEO Specialist
Role Summary:
Imagebox is looking for a new SEO Specialist to help manage their expanding list of internet marketing clients. An ideal candidate will have a strong background strategizing, planning and executing internet marketing campaigns for several clients at once.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement off-page optimization strategies to achieve high organic listings in search engine results pages.
- Perform detailed competitor and market analysis using industry tools.
- Implement on-page optimization efforts.
- Utilize local SEO techniques, such as optimizing local listings, reviews, citations and more, to boost regional traffic.
- Develop and maintain link-building campaigns.
- Recommend continuous SEO-related technical improvements to support our internal content management system.
- Work with internal and external clients on SEO-related issues.
- Strategies, set up and manage Google AdWords Campaigns (Certification a plus)
- Complete monthly reports outlining the work that has been done for assigned projects.
- Distribute PR materials (Press releases via. PR Web)
- Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously and work with other employees to keep projects on schedule
- Complete tasks related to social media marketing (Posting for a client, social media training, helping with overall strategy)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in the SEO discipline (small business/agency exp. a plus)
- Experience with commonly used SEO tools (Analytics, webmaster tools, etc)
- Knowledge of keyword research tools and best practices
- In-depth understanding of search ranking factors and white hat tactics including knowledge in all of the following: sitemaps, robots files, URL structures, page speed analysis, crawler issues, indexing problems, algorithm changes, metadata use, SEO copywriting, link research, link building, back-link analysis, anchor link analysis, broken links, cross linking, 301 redirects, on-page suggestions, video optimization
- Participate in the creation of marketing campaigns with the goal of engagement and lead generation
- Knowledge of keyword research tools and best practices

- Knowledge of WordPress & BigCommerce platforms
- Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and best practices, and User Experience (UX) design
- Ability to collaborate effectively and actively with marketing, design and development teams
- Proven ability to effectively manage time and priorities
- Proficient in Google Analytics
- Solid understanding of major social media platforms and social media marketing
- Organized & detail oriented
